The Village of Dalton is moving forward with a $6 million project to overhaul its 60-year-old wastewater treatment plant. Village council recently adopted a resolution authorizing Mayor Dennis Finley to apply for, accept and enter into agreements for the design and construction of the improvements. Council also gave its unanimous approval to legislation calling for increases in village water and sewer rates. The 3% increases will take effect on January 1st.
