B&B Theatres, the nation’s largest family-owned cinema chain, has acquired the former Cinemark theater at the north end of Wooster. According to the theater chain, Movies 10 will undergo a full-scale renovation and then be reopened as a premium moviegoing destination for the Wooster community. Wooster will be B&B Theatres’ third location in Ohio, joining its existing theatres in Macedonia, in northern Summit County, and Liberty Township, in Butler County. Plans for the Wooster location include B&B Theatres’ signature heated, electric leather recliners in every auditorium. The theatre will also feature an expanded food and beverage program, including a full-service bar and B&B’s popular made-to-order Food-to-Go menu. A major centerpiece of the upgrade will be the installation of the B&B Theatres Grand Screen, the company’s premium large-format experience. B&B officials say additional enhancements, along with a timeline for opening, will be announced at a later date.
