Ohio’s Hospice LifeCare will offer volunteer training on September 14th at the Marilyn and Mark Gustafson Center for Supportive Care in Wooster. The nonprofit, community-based hospice is seeking volunteers to support patients and their families.  The training will cover hospice history and philosophy, along with active listening and communication techniques, and pain and symptom management.  An abbreviated training will also be available for people interested in nonpatient-care roles, including administrative support and buildings and grounds projects.
