The Wayne County chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America will hold a free public open house from 9am to 3pm on September 19th. Team members will lead activity sessions every hour. Sessions will include Christmas tree production, pond and fishing activities, hiking trail walks, and chainsaw handling. The Wayne County chapter, which is located on Cedar Valley Road in West Salem, has been around for 81 years and is home to the oldest tree farm in Ohio. The registration deadline is September 12th.
