Residents visiting the Shreve Wide Garage Sales on October 3rd will have a chance to purchase a longtime local favorite when the County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes holds its annual Wayne County Fair-style BBQ chicken drive-thru fundraiser. The event will begin that day at 10:30 am and continue until they are sold out. Organizers will offer half-chicken meals and dinners from the drive-thru at Shreve Auto Repair. Proceeds from the event help support the County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes and its mission of collecting and preserving local history.
