Orrville City Council has approved a 12-year, 75% property tax abatement for McElroy Packaging. The company is planning a $3.5 million expansion that will add 25,000 square feet to its Orrville facility and is expected to create five new jobs. Company officials say they have invested more than $13 million in equipment and its building during the past several years.
