Wayne County Safe Communities is getting ready to launch the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign with a community event this week. The free kickoff event will be held Wednesday afternoon, from 1 to 5pm, at the pavilion in downtown Wooster’s Public Square. The event marks the beginning of a period of increased impaired-driving enforcement that will continue through September 7th. Wednesday’s event will include hands-on activities designed to demonstrate how alcohol and drugs can affect a driver’s coordination, judgment, and reaction time.
