The County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes Counties will host a free public program about using artificial intelligence in genealogy research at 1 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the historic Shreve Presbyterian Church. The program, titled “AI Is Revolutionizing Family History Research” will be presented by Deb Kitko, genealogy librarian at the Wayne County Public Library. Kitko also will demonstrate how AI can be used to develop step-by-step research plans and address challenges in genealogical research. The program is intended for beginning and experienced researchers.
