Main Street Wooster, in partnership with the City of Wooster, has launched an initiative for three public art projects that will help shape the city’s downtown arts district. The Square Alley Public Art Initiative is seeking artists to create three public pieces of artwork. Artists may apply for one, two or all three projects. The application deadline is July 6. Artist notifications will be made on July 17th, and additional rounds may be solicited. The installation completion deadline is Aug. 16th of 2027. Applications will be evaluated by a panel representing Main Street Wooster, the Wayne Center for the Arts and the City of Wooster.
