In Wooster, preparatory work (crack filling) for the microsurfacing of Portage Road (between the SR3/83 overpass and Akron Road) is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 2nd. Two-way traffic will be maintained, but the city says delays should be anticipated. The microsurfacing, by the way, is scheduled to take place around October 18th, subject to weather.
Elsewhere in Wooster, TR Snyder will continue work on selective concrete pavement replacements in the Meadows Allotment for the next couple of weeks. They will concurrently be starting to work on Hartzler Street and Timber Lane. The contractor will maintain local access during the work, but delays should be anticipated.
