An Ohio entrepreneur who built a nationally recognized ice cream brand from a farmers market startup is coming to The College of Wooster later this month.  Jeni Britton, founder of Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, will discuss entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation during the James R. Wilson Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Oct. 20. The discussion, titled “Finding Your Flavor,” will feature a moderated Q&A.  Britton founded Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in 2002.  Her  current venture creates snacks from produce trimmings such as watermelon rinds and apple cores. Her company aims to increase dietary fiber consumption while reducing food waste.  The event is free and open to the public.
