The Wayne County Health Department will host its next pop-up food pantry in conjunction with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank on Tuesday October 13th from 11am to 1 pm. The location for the pop-up pantry will be in the parking lot of our offices at 244 West South Street in Wooster. This pantry will be market style. Next month when the weather will be colder, they will resume a drive thru style of pop-up pantry for the cold months, according to Wayne County Health Commissioner Nicholas Cascarelli. Individuals and families can receive food if their income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level ($31,920/year for individuals and adding $11,360 per year for each additional family member). For example, a family of four whose annual household income is $66,000 or less would be eligible.
