Inspiration Hills Camp has been awarded a $40,000 grant from the Wayne County Community Foundation to help fund a new Central Education Pavilion that will support expanded youth and educational programming on the camp’s 200-acre property. The funding will provide a foundational investment for construction of the 1,200-square-foot open-air facility. Camp officials say the pavilion will serve as a central operations site for two initiatives scheduled to begin in 2027: a renewed Outdoor Education program serving regional K-12 school districts and a School-Break Day Camp program aimed at providing nature-focused child care during school breaks. Construction plans call for the pavilion to be ready in time for the spring 2027 launch of the new day camp program.
