The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank are inviting local businesses, organizations, churches and schools to collect food during Hunger Action Month. Participants are asked to hold food drives in advance of the organizations’ “All Aboard to End Hunger” event, which will take place on September 9th. The donations will be accepted that day from 9am-1pm at the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society. Groups can collect shelf-stable food, as well as monetary donations. Groups interested in participating should register by August 27th at akroncantonfoodbank.org.
