Wayne County will receive $1.4 million to improve safety along County Road 242 through a project that includes new guardrails and roadway widening. The funding is part of a $72 million statewide investment in transportation safety projects. The Wayne County Engineer’s Office was awarded the grant through ODOT. The project is scheduled for funding in fiscal year 2030.
