Christmas in July, hosted by Main Street Wooster, will take place July 25 in downtown Wooster. Participating downtown businesses will offer sidewalk sales, holiday specials, activities and decorations throughout the district. Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet with families from 9-11 a.m. A free book giveaway will begin at 9 a.m., and children may share their Christmas wishes and take photos. The movie “The Polar Express” will be shown at 10 a.m. at The Lyric Theater. Admission is free, pajamas are encouraged and hot chocolate will be available for $1. A Candy Cane Trail will be available throughout the day, along with downtown Christmas decorations, sidewalk sales and specials at participating businesses.
