Jessica Immel, a practical nursing instructor at the Wayne County Schools Career Center, has been named Ohio’s Advisor of the Year. The announcement was made recently at the SkillsUSA State Competition in Columbus. As the Ohio winner, Immel will now advance to regional competition. The top five regional recipients will be interviewed at a national conference, where one person will be selected as the National Advisor of the Year.
