West Salem’s Village Cornerstone Restaurant is recovering after a break-in last month. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, breaking in through a window. The West Salem Police Department says surveillance footage also showed another person near Heavenly Delight, an ice cream stand down the street, shortly before the break-in occurred. Police believe the incidents could be connected and are sending the video out for enhancements to identify the suspects.
