Jaime Chenevey, a vocational agriculture teacher and FFA adviser at West Holmes, has been named a finalist for this year’s Golden Owl Award, which annually recognizes Ohio’s top agricultural educators. Chenevey is one of ten finalists chosen from a field of 123 Ohio ag teachers. The winner of Ohio’s Ag Educator of the Year award will be announced in May at the Ohio FFA State Convention. This year’s Golden Owl Award winner will receive not only a nice trophy, but also a $5,000 check.
