OneEighty, a local crisis, trauma, and addiction recovery and support agency, has been awarded $95,000 in state funding to support its efforts in fighting addiction. The grant will fund individual, group and family counseling for individuals struggling because of alcoholism or drug use. The grant is part of an inaugural round of approximately $50 million in funding made available to combat the state’s opioid epidemic. The money is partially made up of settlement funds that Ohio is receiving from the pharmaceutical industry as a consequence of its role in the national opioid epidemic.
