Six county-wide school levies were on the Wayne County ballot this year, and three passed according to the Wayne County Board of Election’s unofficial results from yesterday’s election. The Chippewa Local School District’s annual income tax renewal passed, as did Dalton Local’s annual property tax renewal. The Wayne County Career Center’s annual property tax renewal also passed on Tuesday. The three levies meanwhile that failed were Northwestern’s five-year levy renewal, Orrville City School’s new annual income tax and Triway Local’s new annual income tax.
