Wooster voters will be able to ride for free on WayGo’s Demand Response transit service during the final days of early voting and on Election Day under a special program designed to help residents reach polling locations.  The free transportation offer runs from Oct. 26 through Nov. 3 and provides one free round trip for riders using the transit system’s pre-scheduled Demand Response service.  City officials say the program was developed after community members raised questions about transportation options for voters.  Residents may use the free round trip to travel anywhere within WayGo’s service area, including the Wayne County Board of Elections at 200 Vanover St. for early voting or to designated polling locations on Election Day.  The promotion is available to both new and existing riders.  Riders must schedule trips in advance by calling WayGo Dispatch at 330-800-5210.
