The Holmes County Engineer’s Office has announced the roads included in the 2026 paving plan: County Road 53 (2.2 miles), County Road 160 (6.8 miles), County Road 189 (4.6 miles), County Road 200 (5.2 miles), County Road 292 (5.1 miles) and County Road 621 (0.2 miles).
The 2026 paving program is the last year of the full 10-year paving cycle that began in 2017 with the approval of the 0.25 percent sales tax for roads here in Holmes County. All 250 miles of county roads will have been repaved by the end of this year’s paving program.
