A faith-based revival was held recently in Smithville. The rally, hosted by Upward Bound Youth on the campus of The Barn Restaurant, brought together members of more than a dozen congregations. Participants were challenged by several speakers to be one church dedicated to serving in ways that invite a deep and personal connection with Jesus. The event was organized by Revive Wayne County. The next countywide event is planned for March 7. That day’s activities will begin and end at Fairlawn Mennonite Church, in Apple Creek.
