The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a $40,000 federal traffic safety grant. The money, provided by the Ohio Department of Public Safety, will support the sheriff’s office’s Selective Traffic Enforcement Program and the Impaired Driving Enforcement Program. The grant will allow each program next year to receive 350 hours of overtime for deputies so that they can better implement each program.
