Wayne County residents will soon have a chance to hear from local candidates during the League of Women Voters’ annual Candidates’ Forum, scheduled for October 5th, at the Shisler Conference Center, in Wooster. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin that day at 3pm. This year’s forum is sponsored by the Wooster Branch of the American Association of University Women, the Wooster/Orrville branch of the NAACP and the AloNovus Corp. The format will feature roundtable discussions. Attendees will be divided into groups, and candidates will rotate among the groups for direct interaction and open dialogue.
