The College of Wooster has eliminated 22 staff positions as part of a reduction in force, citing challenges from falling enrollment and rising expenses that have strained the institution’s finances. In a statement released this week, the college said it notified 18 full-time and four part-time employees last week that their roles were being cut. The positions primarily involved operational, administrative and external-facing functions. The college said no faculty members were among those being laid off.
