The College of Wooster is getting ready to host its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration with a series of events centered on the theme “Love in Action.” The celebration, scheduled for January 19th, will begin with a prayer breakfast and opening ceremony at 9 a.m. in Kittredge Dining Hall. That will be followed by a series of justice dialogues in Ruth Williams Hall. As part of its MLK celebration, the College will also host a soup and bread lunch on January 21st. Proceeds from the lunch will go toward lowering student lunch debt at Wooster City Schools. More information about the college’s MLK Day celebration, including updates to the schedule and event locations, can be found at Wooster.edu.
