Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office have some new life-saving tools, thanks to a grant distributed through the Wayne County Community Foundation. The grant allowed the sheriff’s office to recently purchase 25 automated external defibrillators, 35 Stop the Bleed kits, and 35 tourniquet kits for deputies to use in emergencies. The grant will also allow deputies to receive updated CPR and AED training from the Wooster Township Fire Department.
