In Wooster traffic news, South Columbus Avenue, between Vanover Street and Kemrow Street, will be closed today, from 11am to 3pm, for pavement restoration as a part of a water line project. Also, tomorrow and Monday, the intersection of West Liberty Street & South Columbus Avenue will be closed for water line replacement work. The intersection will be closed each day from 7am-5pm to through traffic, with detour signs posted. The city says local traffic will be maintained, but delays should be expected. And finally, the square’s southeast and southwest quad parking lots in downtown Wooster will be closed this upcoming Sunday and Monday. Workers will be putting on a preventative application of double sealcoat followed by the re-striping of the two lots.
