The city of Wooster has a new Law Director. Andrea Uhler was recently appointed to the position, replacing John Scavelli, who left the city back in April. Uhler previously served as the city’s deputy director of law and has extensive legal experience in Wayne County, including a stint as a court administrator, mediator and staff attorney for the Wayne County Common Pleas Court. She has also served as civil chief for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office and acted as legal counsel to Wayne County’s 16 townships.
