The Ashland Soil and Water Conservation District is now seeking sponsors for its annual Rain Beat on Main Street event. Each year, between 25 and 30 rain barrels are sponsored, painted and then auctioned off, with proceeds going to stormwater education programs. The event, now in its 6th year, will begin in June, in Loudonville’s Central Park, before moving to the city of Ashland’s Balloonfest, and then finally wrapping up with a display in Ashland’s Corner Park, in July. More information can be found on the conservation district’s website.
