Holmes County residents and commercial business owners will see a small increase in their sewer rates this year. County officials say the increase marks the first time in more than a decade that sewer rates have risen. The residential rate, which is set at $55, will increase to $60. The current commercial rate is at $60 and will rise to $66 per sewer unit. The county will also move to a new billing system that will make bills easier for customers to read.
