Marshallville’s Robert Brooker Nature Preserve is now open to the public.  The preserve, which covers roughly 50 acres, has three main trails, all of which are less than a mile long.  Construction work began last year, with the project funded primarily through a nearly $300,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.  The village says it plans to seek additional funding to enhance the nature preserve by adding signage along the paths, along with an observation deck and additional footbridges.
