P. Graham Dunn in Dalton is closing, meaning nearly 100 employees will soon be without a job.  According to a mass layoff notice filed with the state, the 92 employees at the company’s retail and manufacturing facility will be permanently laid off later this month.  Pending the sale of P. Graham Dunn’s assets, the layoffs are expected to occur on October 20th.  Provia, which makes exterior home products such as windows and siding, has already announced plans to buy P. Graham Dunn’s building and the surrounding land, and anticipates closing on the deal before the end of the year.
