Renovations have been completed at Wooster High School for two new Career Technical Education programs − Manufacturing and Welding Technologies, along with Health Technologies.  The renovations were funded by a $2 million grant from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce.  The Health Technologies program allows students to earn industry-recognized credentials, such as CPR, first aid and phlebotomy, while the Manufacturing and Welding Technologies program lets students work toward becoming licensed welders. Both programs feature a work-based curriculum, allowing students to gain paid, practical experience during the school day.  Starting with the 2025-26 school year, both programs will expand to include two levels, which typically will be completed during student’s junior and senior years.
