The College of Wooster is inviting the public to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day at the college when the women’s basketball team takes on Wittenberg University on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. This year’s National Girls and Women in Sports Day is actually Wednesday, February 5th, but the celebration is on the 1st due to the women’s basketball team playing on the road on the 5th. An all-sports carnival for kids in kindergarten through seventh grade will be held that day in the college’s Hot Box Gymnasium.
