In Wooster, ground has been broken on the city’s largest housing expansion project in more than 40 years. The Clear Creek development, located at the corner of Mechanicsburg and Silver roads, will add more than 100 homes to the city. Wooster officials say the homes are much needed, with the city experiencing a more than four percent growth in population over the last decade. Homes in the Clear Creek housing development will range from 1,400 to 3,500 square feet, with prices expected to be in the mid $200,000 to upper $300,000 range. Construction work on the homes is scheduled to begin soon.
