A $15,000 grant from the Wayne County Community Foundation will enable the continuation of the used book sale put on each year by the American Association of University Women and the Wooster Kiwanis Club.  The fundraiser was in danger of closing in 2023 when it was discovered that the lease for the building where the books were stored was not being renewed.  The grant will be used to renovate an outbuilding at the Zion Lutheran Church, where the books are now being stored.  The annual sale takes place in September at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
