Wooster City Council members have voted to prohibit adult-use cannabis operators within city limits. When state issue two passed, legalizing marijuana, it granted municipalities the authority to regulate adult-use cannabis operators, including processors and dispensaries. Council members say that if something happens to change at the state level or even at the local level, and they start seeing more interest, then it is always something that they’ll be able to put back on the table.
