The Wooster City School District has joined other districts across Ohio and nationwide in a social media class-action lawsuit against Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube. The Wooster City Schools Board of Education has unanimously approved a resolution to authorize joining the litigation. The resolution includes an attorney-client fee contract where the district will not be charged attorneys’ fees or bear any costs or expenses if there is no recovery from the lawsuit.
