Families facing a child’s mental health crisis in Wayne County will soon have access to take-home support resources through a partnership between The Village Network, Wooster Community Hospital and the Zach Souers Giving Hope Fund. The organizations announced that the “Zach Packs” will provide practical tools, activities and family resources for patients and families experiencing a crisis or loss. The organizations say the program is intended to help families begin finding support before formal services become available. The Zach Souers Giving Hope Fund was created by Wooster residents Jeff and Suzanne Souers in memory of their son, Zach, who passed away in 2004 at the age of 23.
