The Wayne County Board of Health recently promoted Vaughn Anderson, to deputy health commissioner. Anderson has been the environmental health director for the Wayne County Health Department since March of 2011. He will retain that role with the department in addition to his new position. As deputy health commissioner, Anderson will support the health commissioner by overseeing day-to-day operations when the health commissioner is unavailable and working on projects with the health commissioner.
