Residents across Wayne and Holmes counties struggling with mental health challenges may soon see expanded support, thanks to a wave of new funding for local organizations. Thirteen organizations have been awarded a total of $65,000 in mental health microgrants from the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties. The funding marks the first cycle in a newly redesigned, more responsive grant model from the United Way aimed at meeting real-time community needs.
