The American Heart Association recently gave 25 blood pressure monitors to the Wayne County Public Library. In addition to the blood pressure monitor itself, Wayne County residents also have access to American Heart Association-guided materials on how to properly measure blood pressure, an explanation of what their numbers mean and a contact list of medical providers for anyone who needs a follow-up. The machines can be checked out using a library card.
