The United Way of Wayne & Holmes Counties is changing its financial model so that it can enhance long-term stability and transparency in community investments.  Beginning next year, the organization will change from a pledge-based funding model to a cash-on-hand model, meaning grants will be awarded based on dollars received rather than dollars pledged.  To support the transition, no new grant cycles or applications will be offered for the rest of this year.  The 2026 grant cycle will open in the spring, with full details announced sometime in the first quarter of the year.
