Construction of the new West Holmes Elementary School is on schedule and on budget, with completion of the $40 million project expected by August of next year.  The 110,000-square-foot building will house roughly 800 students in pre-K through fifth grade.  District officials say the building will feature separate playground areas for grades K-2 and 3-5, as well as a greenspace and a bus/after-school driveway that will be connected to the middle and high school campus.
