Three people were injured this week at the Wayne County Speedway when a sprint car left the racing surface. The spectators were struck within the infield area of the track on Monday. Two of the victims suffered critical injuries and required advanced medical care, while the third person sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Out of respect for the victims and their families, no additional information regarding their identities or medical conditions is being released at this time.
