The Wayne County Health Department, in collaboration with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, will host its monthly pop-up food pantry next week.  The food pantry will take place on Tuesday, June 9th, from 11am to 1 pm. The location for next week’s pop-up pantry will be in the parking lot of the health department’s offices in Wooster. The pantry will be market style and health department officials will assist those who have mobility issues.   Last month’s pop-up pantry was able to serve more than 100 area families.  Individuals and families can receive food if their income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.  The Health Department kindly asks that anyone coming to the food pantry not park in the United Way or the Wayne Center for the Arts parking lots, as they need those parking spots for their clients, employees and visitors.  Instead, residents coming to the pantry should park in the lot between the Health Department and the United Way.
