The makers of the documentary “Angel in Amish Country,” the story of Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Perry Reese Jr. and the impact he had while coaching at Hiland, say they are nearing completion on the film. The film’s producers are hoping to have a first-cut pieced together by the middle of November. The plan, as of right now, is to premiere it next March at the Cleveland Film Festival. Reese, who passed away from Cancer in 2000 at the age of 48, coached the Hiland boys team for sixteen seasons, winning over 300 games and leading the Hawks to the division four state title in 1992.
